Treatment Info:

Unlike traditional fillers that primarily add volume, SuneKOS focuses on boosting skin health at a deeper, cellular level by enhancing the extracellular matrix (ECM).

It achieves this by utilising a patented blend of hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights and a specific cluster of essential amino acids (HY6AA) which work synergistically to deliver both immediate hydration and long term structural repair, resulting in natural, long lasting skin rejuvenation.

What kind of results should I expect?

The HY6AA formula works to regenerate the extracellular matrix -a vital component that supports the skin structure. By restoring balance within the ECM, SuneKOS improves skin elasticity, hydration, and firmness, making it highly effective for treating fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity. Common treatment areas include the under-eyes, neck, hands and décolletage.

SuneKOS FAQs Accordion
▼ Who can have SuneKOS?
SuneKOS is ideal for patients who feel their skin looks dull, dehydrated or crepey. If fine lines are developing under the eyes or across the neck, or if your skin has lost some of its natural elasticity, SuneKOS offers a regenerative approach that encourages the skin to repair itself.

It is also an excellent option for those who prefer a natural result without any added volume. For many patients, SuneKOS is an ideal first step into aesthetic treatments because it enhances the skin’s health rather than altering facial structure.
▼ Is it a dermal filler?
No – dermal fillers add volume to the face, whereas SuneKOS does not add any volume. Instead, it enhances the health and quality of the skin rather than altering the facial structure.
▼ Where can you have SuneKOS?
SuneKOS is most commonly used on the face, eyes, neck, décolletage and hands.
▼ How many sessions will I need?
The initial treatment consists of 3 sessions, 14 days apart.

It is advisable to have a booster treatment after no more than 4–6 months. This is just 1 session rather than a repeat of the initial 3 sessions.
▼ Can I return to work afterwards?
Yes, you can. Most patients can return to work immediately after SuneKOS, as there is little or no downtime.

You may experience some temporary small bumps, redness, swelling or bruising at the injection points.
▼ Will it hurt and how long does it take?
The procedure is relatively pain-free, with potential mild discomfort from the needle. You may feel a small pinch or slight pressure, but the procedure is usually very well tolerated.

Numbing cream is used and the procedure itself takes around 20 minutes.
▼ Are there any side effects or risks?
SuneKOS is considered a very safe treatment when carried out by a medical professional.

Side effects are typically mild and may include slight swelling, redness or tenderness at the injection site, which usually resolves within 24 hours.

It is important that you follow your aftercare advice.
▼ Is this treatment suitable for everybody?
A consultation is required prior to treatment to check suitability.

You are unsuitable for treatment if:
  • You have any infection present at or near the injection sites.
  • You are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
▼ How do I prepare for the appointment?
  • Arnica tablets are great to help with bruising – you can take these for a few days before treatment.
  • Antihistamines can help with swelling.
  • Please do not drink alcohol for 24 hours before or after your appointment.
  • Avoid any laser treatments, chemical peels or microneedling for 2 weeks before and after your treatment.
  • Please try to eat and drink something before your appointment to avoid feeling light-headed during the procedure.
  • Please come to your appointment make-up free or with minimal make-up.
▼ What is the aftercare advice?
It is important to follow your aftercare advice.
  • Try to avoid ibuprofen and aspirin for the first 24 hours, as this can increase bruising. Paracetamol is fine.
  • Avoid alcohol and exercise for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid rubbing the areas of the face that have been injected for 24 hours. This includes facials and facial massage.
  • You can wash your face on the evening of the treatment with a gentle cleanser.
  • Avoid any retinols or acids on the day of treatment.
  • Avoid applying make-up directly to the injection sites for 24 hours. You may apply make-up to other areas of your face.

  • Try to sleep without putting pressure on your face for the first week.
